| Description | When playing recordings, a progress bar and total time is displayed when fast forwarding, etc. A usual feature of previous firmware versions was that it displayed the current position as time value - e.g. it allowed easy skipping of advert breaks. It would be nice if this could be added back again, whilst keeping the new progress bar too. Perhaps the time could be put in the centre of the progress bar, for example. | |||||

I agree in part. The progress bar isn't useful though; why guess when you can have a precise time? The program length is unnecessary as it is shown in the listings before being played. My preference would be for the pre-v0.3.4 layout, but with a Time Remaining count instead of Time Elapsed. |

I'd like the elapsed time to return. I.e in hh:mm:ss format so that I can advert skip and edit my recordings properly. I don't mind if the progress bar is there or not. Also there is a bug. The progress bar does not always show the elapsed bar properly on editted recordings. E.g. if I play back an editted recording to the end, it may show the progress bar as reaching halfway thru when I get to the end during play back. |
