0012: "info" banner display takes ages to update

Description

Both the info banner (shown when changing channels) and the info display (shown when pressing the 'i' button on the remote), usually take absolutely ages to display the current programme name and details. Occasionally it appears instantly, so you can see the current programme when using P+/P-, but more often than not the banner times out before the details appear. And when pressing the 'i' button, it can take upto 30 seconds until the programme name and details actually appear, which is more or less useless. Likewise when using the up/down keys to navigate the channel details shown in the info display. It really must be possible to obtain and display this info in under 1 second always, since occasionally that does happen.

One observation I should note is that when the info display is blank showing no details for more than a few seconds, pausing live tv and quickly pressing the info button again will cause the programme details to appear immediately. So, it looks like something is broken somewhere. Maybe disk access is the issue (the deferred live tv buffer being recorded is conflicting with the disk access required by the info display???).
