0032: "Green flash" on any display output

Description

When watching anything from the box (i.e. live tv, deferred tv, a recording, etc), a "green flash" often appears on screen. It's hard to explain because it only shows up for a split second, but either the entire or part of the screen flashes green (maybe magenta momentarily before it turns green too).

This does not appear to be due to an error in the MPEG streams, since if you rewind back past where the green flash happened, it does not happen again at the same place. AFAIK, this problem has been present since day one.

(0039) ptd (reporter) 09 Apr 06 18:24	I've never seen this on the picture, but have recently noticed a similar effect on the background box on subtitles. It's not intrusive, happens too infrequently to quantify, and not sure if updates prior to 0.3.9b were affected.

I agree that it's not the recording or transmission because you don't see it again when rewinding and checking. It used to happen rarely, but I notice it more often now, maybe because I'm aware of it. Sometimes it happens 2-6 times per hour, but because the flash is fleeting, I usually ignore it (eg like ignoring the reception errors produce by electrical interence).
