| Summary | 0045: Deferred viewing doesn't always work anymore | ||||||||||
| Description | Starting with 0.3.9b, deferred viewing of live tv doesn't always work to well. For example, sometimes when rewinding from live, the picture hangs for a few seconds before jumping forwards a minute or so, back to live tv, or almost back to live tv, but with stuttering on the audio and lots of visual artefacts. The latter effect can quite easily be reproduced by pressing pause and then immediately pressing play. It can take a few attempts to see the problem, but when it doesn't happen, notice the deferred time counter jumps back 6 seconds or so (not sure if this part happened on older versions). | ||||||||||

I've also experienced this since 0.3.9b, but not before. I find that pressing pause first before pressing play usually avoids the jump to live. |
