Summary0255: Duplicate partial recordings on +1 channels
DescriptionThis problem used to happen on the T835, but I think was fixed in v3.2 or v3.4 or thereabouts. What happens is that when I have a series recording setup on a channel that has an associated +1 channel, the programme records fine on the main channel, but then a small portion of the repeat on the +1 channel is then recorded an hour later.

The specific case that this happened on yesterday was Smallville on E4. Scheduled to record at 21:00-22:00. Accurate recording dictated that the recording actually started at 21:03 and lasted for 57m57s, correctly I should add. But at 22:03, a recording of the same programme on E4+1 was errornously made that was 2m8s long. AFAIK, the series and programme CRID of the episode on E4 and E4+1 were identical. Strangely, I've had this on series record since first testing the T7300 and it is the first time it has happened on this series. Each week it does normally start at 21:02 or 21:03 and lasts for 57 minutes or so. Also, my T835 is set to record the same series and it did not make this duplicate recording.

This could potentially be a relatively major problem if the user has 2 other timers already scheduled at the same time that the box makes the unwanted duplicate recording.

This still happens with v6.0. Again with Smallville on E4, it recorded on 30/11/2011 starting at 17:23 for 59m45s. But, then it also recorded 6m50s of the same episode on E4+1 starting at 18:23. I don't recall the actual scheduled start time in the EPG, but it was probably 17:20 rather than 17:25.
