Summary0403: LPCM audio output volume level too high
DescriptionThe relative audio level of LPCM 2.0 output (Freeview SD and Freeview HD when output is set to stereo) is much louder compared to the Dolby Digital output of Freeview HD channels (when audio output is set to surround). Additionally, when you compare the audio output to that of over Freeview boxes, PVRs and TVs, you need to reduce the volume to 75% on the DN372T in order for the volume level to match.

When you have audio output set to surround on the DN372T, this of course fixes the level at 100%, which means whenever you switch between SD or HD channels and recordings, you have to adjust the volume on the TV/Amp because the SD channels are much louder than HD.

Obviously, the volume level should be uniform, like it is with other manufacturers.
